## Thesis

The interview turns end-times belief into a map of power. Jiang defines eschatology as the question of where history ends and where God and man reunify. From there, his argument is material as much as spiritual: Western values come from finance, property, skepticism, utilitarian pleasure, and Calvinist anxiety; America is rich but spiritually sick; Christian Zionism should be read as a system that weaponizes fear and prophecy; a Russia-China-Iran Eurasian bloc threatens the dollar order; and Greater North America is the possible attempt to replace a failing financial empire with a resource empire. Dugin gives the Orthodox answer: resist Antichrist, never side with evil, and keep the catechon even if the end is coming. Jiang's final difference is colder: the anti-human system is not only evil. It is attractive. People may fight to keep it because it brought prosperity, technology, and comfort.

## Core Reading

The sharp move is that eschatology stops being a private belief about heaven and becomes a political technology. Jiang defines it as each tradition's understanding of the endpoint of history: why we are here, where we are going, and the point where God and man reunify. That definition lets every later question become geopolitical. Zionism, Orthodox Russia, Islam, China, American Protestantism, Trump, Epstein, BRICS, the dollar, and Iran are not separate topics. Jiang's own self-placement is not church loyalty. He says he grew up in atheist China, spent most of his life skeptical of religion, and only in the last two years moved toward a Gnostic framework through eschatology, Kabbalah, and geopolitics. That matters because he is not answering as a priest. He is reading belief as world-model, empire logic, and historical force.

### Finance Invents The West

Summary: Jiang does not start Western decay with culture-war images. He starts in 1694, with the Bank of England and infinite financing.

When the host asks about decaying Western values, Jiang does not begin with TV shows, decadence, or Trump's Easter posts. He begins with 1694: the Bank of England. The bank lets transnational capital lend to the nation-state with Parliament as guarantor. Kings used to run out of money, die, or refuse repayment. The new machine lets Britain keep borrowing and keep fighting until Napoleon is finally exhausted. Empire is born as a financial technology.

The philosophy follows the machinery. Locke sanctifies private property. Hume weakens confidence in truth and intuition. Bentham makes pleasure the measure of good. Dugin then pushes the chain through social Darwinism, Ayn Rand, Calvinist wealth theology, and a Protestant America cut off from older sacred roots. The result is a civilization where wealth can look like divine election, poverty can look like damnation, and people become hostages of their own economic theology.

### Christian Zionism As Fear Machine

The Scofield Bible becomes the episode's example of commentary turning into scripture. Dugin says a small Protestant sect embedded its end-times interpretation inside the Bible, making many readers unable to distinguish holy text from pseudo-prophecy.
