Jiang anchors the word in Asimov's *Foundation*, but his version stays provisional, educational, and humanistic rather than a finished oracle. ## What Jiang Means Jiang usually starts from Asimov: psychohistory is the imagined science of modeling large-scale human behavior across time. He then turns that fiction into a school problem. Students, historians, readers, mathematicians, programmers, and model-builders have to learn how to correct the past, test forecasts, and revise the analysis when predictions fail. The human boundary is important. Jiang's psycho-history cannot be only quantitative statecraft.
